Do you ever wonder if someone is lying to you while telling a story? Here's a few things to look out for to find out if they are:
- THEY TELL THE STORY CHRONOLOGICALLY (When you rehearse a story in your head, it becomes like a scriptâĻfrom beginning to end)
- THEY SPEAK MORE ELOQUENTLY WITH BIGGER WORDS
- THEY DROP PRONOUNS (Experts say people speak better when theyâre lying. IE: âWent to the park.â âAte lunch.â As opposed to âI went to the parkâ or âWE ate lunchâ.)
